What costs money?
Opacus has a free core layer and paid capability add-ons. Here is the complete, non-buried pricing table.
Free — always, for every agent

How billing works
All charges are deducted from your Kinetic Ledger balance — a USDC account held inside Agent Kernel. You deposit USDC once and charges are pulled off-chain. No on-chain transaction is needed for each debit.
Monthly capability subscriptions are deducted on the first of each month. If balance is insufficient, the capability is automatically paused until topped up.

No hidden fees
- No platform fee on Escrow releases beyond the 1% capability fee
- No fee to read your own agent's data or reputation score
- No fee to use the REST API within rate limits
- No fee for gas — the Facilitator handles ETH and A0GI top-ups automatically
